Deborah D. Lynett, J.D.
Deborah D. Lynett concentrates her practice on marital and family law matters and estate planning with an emphasis in planning for subsequent marriages, blended families, domestic partners and all other pre and post judgement issues.
Ms. Lynett is from Miami, Florida where she received her undergraduate degree from Barry University in 1979.
She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in 1985 and thereafter settled in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
She is the founding partner in the Law Office of Nettlow & Lynett, P.C. in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and a principal in the Law Office of Huth and Lynett in Detroit, Michigan.
An attorney since 1986, Ms. Lynett was previously an Associate Attorney with the Friend of the Court (Family Court) in Saginaw before moving her practice to Southeastern Michigan.
She also lectures on the Medicaid planning process and how to qualify for Medicaid assistance.
A strong advocate in continuing legal education, Ms. Lynett has participated in many advanced family and estate planning symposiums around the country.
She has appeared on cable television and presents seminars on estate and life planning as well as Medicaid planning to local and national groups. She frequently appears as a guest speaker for Insurance Agencies and Financial Planners throughout the State of Michigan.
She is member of the Michigan Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Women's Inforum, the Michigan Bar Association Probate and Estate Planning Sections and Family Law and Animal Law Sections.
She participates with her dog 'Daisy' in the Children's Hospital of Michigan's Therapy Dog Program. She is also affiliated with Therapy Dogs International.
Donald R. Nettlow
Mr. Nettlow graduated from the University of Miami Law School and received his Masters in tax law from New York University School of Law.
He practiced in the area of Tax law and was involved in politics until 1966 when he moved his practice and his family to Miami Florida. Mr. Nettlow opened a general practice in Miami with an emphasis in Taxation, Estate Planning and Personal Injury law.
He retired from the full time practice of law in 1980. Mr. Nettlow passed away in 1997. He is survived by his wife, Val and his three children, Randy, Deborah and Donald Jr.
